/temprole permanent

Description​

This command is used to restore a role configured as "Timed" or "Scheduled" in RoleTimer back to a regular permanent Discord role.

After executing this command, RoleTimer Bot will delete all configuration information for the role in the system and immediately stop the countdown for all members with that role. Members will retain the role permanently until someone manually removes it.

Usage​

/temprole permanent <role>

Parameters​

Required Parameters​

  • <role>: Select the Discord role to convert to permanent.

Examples​

Example 1: Cancel the time limit setting for the @VIP role and revert it to a permanent role.

/temprole permanent role:@VIP

Notes​

  • Irreversible Stop: Once executed, timers for all valid members will be cancelled, and they will permanently obtain the role. If you want to change it back to a temporary role later, you need to reconfigure it, and it will only apply to new members.
  • Global Config Only: This command is used to cancel configurations for /temprole timed_role or /temprole scheduled_role. It cannot be used to cancel temporary roles assigned to individuals via /temprole personal_role.

FAQ​

  • Q: Will running this command delete the role? A: No. It only removes the "time limit" rule; the role itself and the roles assigned to members will be retained.
