🕒 Core Concepts: Three Timing Modes​

RoleTimer offers three flexible modes to satisfy various role management scenarios:

  • ⏳ Timed Role: The countdown starts the moment a member receives the role; it is automatically removed upon expiration. This is ideal for scenarios like VIP trials.
  • 📅 Scheduled Role: Set a specific end date and time; the role is removed from all members simultaneously when that time is reached. Perfect for seasonal badges or limited-time events.
  • 👤 Personal Temporary Role: Administrators can manually assign a temporary role to a specific member with a custom, independent expiration time for highly personalized management.

  1. Set Timezone: Use /set timezone to ensure the bot's timing is synchronized with your local time.
  2. Create Configuration: Use /temprole timed_role or /temprole scheduled_role to set up your first automated role.
  3. Check Status: Members can use /profile at any time to view their active temporary roles and remaining duration.
