/set timezone

Description​

This command is used to set the server's default timezone.

Once set, RoleTimer Bot will use this timezone when handling Scheduled Roles, displaying expiration times, and other operations involving scheduled roles or personal temporary roles.

Usage​

/set timezone

This command will guide you step-by-step to choose a suitable timezone. If you can't find yours, you can enter the timezone identifier of a major city near you (e.g. Asia/Shanghai).

Notes​

  • Global Effect: Changing the timezone affects all time-related functions within the server.
  • Default UTC: If not set, UTC time is used by default.

FAQ​

  • Q: What if I can't find my city? A: Try finding a major city in the same timezone. For example, for Beijing Time you can select Asia/Shanghai or Asia/Chongqing.
